It features seven external and two internal antennas and operates in three bands: 2.4 GHz, 5.2 GHz, and 5.8 GHz. The router can manually switch to tri-band mode with theoretical speeds of up to 7000 Mbps. The Wi-Fi 7 standard is 20% faster than Wi-Fi 6, and latency is 20% lower. A dedicated channel is available for gaming devices, and instant pairing with Xiaomi devices is also supported.

Double 5G speed
The Xiaomi Router 7000 works with smartphones that support dual 5G MLO. Connecting to two 5G bands simultaneously increases speed by 50%.
